Education Partners are schools and organizations that provide high quality education and extra-curricular support ensuring that students are prepared to succeed and thrive. Farther Foundation provides scholarships for student travel and expands the Education Partner's awareness and knowledge of student travel opportunities, and supports their capacity to create better academic and life outcomes for the students they serve. Alternatives Inc.Alternatives Inc. Builds on the strengths of young people by focusing on leadership development, prevention of violence and substance abuse, academic enrichment and counseling. Big Shoulders FundThe mission of the Big Shoulders Fund is to provide support to the Catholic schools in the neediest areas of inner-city Chicago. 100% of the funds raised by the Big Shoulders Fund are used to support children through scholarships, special education programs, instructional equipment, much needed school facility improvements, faculty support, and operating grants. Cabrini ConnectionsCabrini Connections is a one-on-one tutoring and mentoring program serving 7th through 12th grade students living in Chicago's Cabrini-Green public housing project. Centro RomeroCentro Romero is a community-based organization that serves the refugee immigrant population on the northeast side of Chicago. We run an after-school program for children ages 7-16 to help the youth improve grades and receive a complete understanding of the work they are doing in school. Chicago Public Schools - Summer QuestSummer Quest connects students to pre-college programs by providing resources and support. We inspire high school students to visualize what is possible through higher education. By connecting low-income high school students with high quality pre-college programs, we send students outside their local neighborhoods on a quest for new intellectual, social, and leader- ship experiences. We provide the financial re- sources and support for students to access learning opportunities that would otherwise be unaffordable. Christ the King Preparatory SchoolChrist the King Jesuit College Preparatory School is a Catholic Jesuit secondary school (grades 9-12) using the Cristo Rey model to serve young men and women from the Austin neighborhood and surrounding communities of Chicago’s west side. Cristo Rey High SchoolCristo Rey Jesuit High School offers a Catholic college preparatory education for the immigrant families of Chicago's near southwest side to advance the human and intellectual capacities, as well as the religious and cultural heritage, of all those it serves. US EmpoweredUS Empowered, a college preparatory program that works with under-achieving CPS high school students, touts a 100% acceptance rate into four-year colleges since inception while increasing average ACT and GPA scores by nearly 20%. YMENYmen's mission is to prepare young men in the North Lawndale community for mature responsible leadership, academic excellence, and outstanding service to the larger community through a comprehensive college preparatory program, entrepreneurial training, a long-term mentoring network and community service learning.
